Dear Patrizia, as I mentioned it is kind of practising to make the body to be able to do the similar technique at higher stages. For example in Suto, there is a punch known as "Vietnamese punch" which you need to get power from the opposite shoulder similar way that we are talking about.
It is not like to get energy or release the energy. It is like gathering and creating power for the technique.

Dear Ostad Jalilzadeh,
I was asking myself why the first mato in Anattawa is not in front of the chest but a little to the side, on the shoulder line.
Classic mato should be in front of the chest, usually I put as a target the center of the sternum ( I have the bad tendency to make it too high, I am trying to take it a little down! ) , is this correct?
But in Anattawa the first Mato is on the shoulder line, and shoulder high. Have I see it correctly? I'm used to take it in front of the chest, do I have to modify it?
Thank you

Dear Patrizia all Matos should be at chest level and parallel to the ground and front of the body, unless the direction and rules of the technique says other way.
I guess you are doing fine.
First Mato in Anattawa hits front of the chest also.

Thank you dear Ostad Jalilzadeh, I got it.
To be parallel to the ground it must be shoulder's high, so I think a little lower than "throat high" is correct.
I really like the "parallel to the ground" as guide line!! No possibility of mistakes.
Thank you!
